SCHENECTADY A Schenectady man was injured in a Wednesday night shooting in Schenectady, police said.

The man, 23, of Schenectady, was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.

The incident happened at about 8 p.m. Wednesday. Officers responded to the area of Craig Street and Delamont Avenue for a report of shots fired, police said.

They arrived to find the man wounded in the street, police said.

Schenectady Police evidence technicians processed the scene and detectives were continuing to investigate Thursday. No arrests had been made.

Anyone with information is asked to contact city police detectives, police said.
