SARATOGA SPRINGS – A Saratoga Springs man has been arrested, accused of raping a child in Colonie, New York State Police said.
Jason M. Storms, 44, was charged with second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act, felonies, along with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
Police arrested Storms Tuesday evening after executing a search warrant, with the assistance of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Troop G Computer Crime Unit, at Storms’ Saratoga Springs residence, police said.
During the search, investigators identified a victim under the age of 15 who Storms is accused of sexually assaulting years ago in Colonie, police said. A release did not indicate what led to the search.
Storms was arrested and arraigned in Colonie Town Court. He was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
