SARATOGA SPRINGS Thoroughbred trainer Chad Brown’s next court appearance following an Aug. 17 misdemeanor charge of obstruction of breathing has again been adjourned and postponed, to 9 a.m. on Oct. 21, in Saratoga Springs City Court.

Brown was scheduled to appear Friday, a court date that originally had been scheduled for Sept. 2, three days before the conclusion of the Saratoga Race Course meet at which Brown won his fifth training championship for races won. That court appearance was postponed to Sept. 16, then again to this Friday.

He was arrested on Aug. 17 and spent the night in jail in the wake of an alleged domestic violence incident at his home in Saratoga Springs. Brown pled not guilty at an Aug. 18 arraignment, and Brown was released on bail of $2,500.
