Lottery: Corinth man claims $1M Mega Millions prize

CORINTH A Corinth man has claimed a $1 million second prize in the July 26 Mega Millions drawing, lottery officials said Thursday.

Ronald Skinner received a lump-sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings, officials said.

Skinner purchased the winning ticket at the Cumberland Farms on Maple Street in Corinth, officials said.

Skinner is planning on purchasing a home with the money, officials said.

He won the second prize for matching the drawing’s first five numbers in the July 26 drawing, 07, 29, 60, 63 and 66. The Mega Ball was 15.
