
SCHENECTADY – An early Friday damaged a Schenectady home and led to a firefighter suffering minor injuries, fire officials said.
The firefighter was treated at the scene, officials said.

The fire happened just before 4:30 a.m. Friday at 1166 Avon Road. Smoke and flames were visible as they arrived, officials said.
Crews conducted a search and all occupants were accounted for, officials said.
They had the fire under control within 15 minutes.
