HIGH SCHOOLS – Ryan Farr scored three goals to power Saratoga Springs to a 5-1 victory over Shenendehowa in a Suburban Council boys’ soccer contest Tuesday. Aidan Rosettie and Evan Hallett also scored for the Blue Streaks, while Lucas Varghese and Evan Griffiths each had an assist. Tanner Rock scored the lone goal for Shenendehowa on an assist from Conor Brown. Ben Van Valkenburg made three saves for Saratoga Springs, while Sam Tymeson had four saves for Shen.

Leon Edelmann scored twice to lead Guilderland to a 7-0 victory over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. Jack Ayers, Ronnie Kobet, Josh Hosey and Colby Cummings all had a goal and an assist for the Dutchmen, while Owen Shepard also scored.

Kyle Hebler and Logan Bradshaw each scored for Columbia in a 2-2 draw with Bethlehem. Brady Bell and Cody Hamilton each had an assist for the Blue Devils. Michael Marcello and Colin Nejame scored for Bethlehem.

In the Colonial Council, Voorheesville blanked Mohonasen. Robbie Kind, David Ambuhl and Joe Richmond scored for the Blackbirds. Jake Johnson, Cion Connolly and Jacob Bogdany each had an assist for Voorheesville.

Brody Becker and Javier Jimenez scored for Cobleskill-Richmondville in a 2-1 win over Cohoes. Derek Primeau scored the lone goal for Cohoes. Kole Wayman made five saves for the Bulldogs and Charlie Gendron made seven saves for the Tigers.

In a non-league matchup, Catskill edged Schalmont, 2-1. Ryan Carter and Josue Tubon scored for the Cats. Jason Natalie scored the lone goal for Schalmont on an assist from Corbet Hallberg. Danny Forbes made four saves for Catskill. Calen Mathurin finished with one save for Schalmont.

BENNY’S GOAL LIFTS SCOTIA-GLENVILLE TO WIN

Mia Benny scored the game’s only goal with 7:54 remaining to lift Scotia-Glenville to a 1-0 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council girls’ soccer game.

Carolyn Sculco made 15 saves to help Amsterdam earn a 0-0 draw with Schuylerville in a Foothills Council contest at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Addie Hill scored three minutes into the first overtime to propel Glens Falls to a 1-0 victory over Johnstown in a game at Knox Field. Ava Pirozzolo assisted on the goals for the Indians. Sarah Wolfstich finished with five saves for Glens Falls.

Bailey Duffy scored the game’s only goal on an assist from Meredith Montgomery to give Queensbury a 1-0 victory over Broadalbin-Perth. Shea Canavan recorded seven saves for the Spartans. Mairead Marsden posted eight saves for the Patriots.

Madisyn Licci registered a goal and two assists for Averill Park in an 8-0 victory over Schenectady in a Suburban Council girls’ soccer game. Bailey Robilotta, Ari Verardi, Maya Briggs, Sierra Iwaneczko and Abby Houser also scored for the Warriors. Simone Schwarz-Eise made two saves for Averill Park. Olivia Kay made 15 stops for Schenectady.

Sofia Bouplon, Marleigh Delisle, Jordyn Chrysler and Alexa Voland scored for Voorheesville in a 4-3 Colonial Council victory over Mohonasen.

Grace Soukop finished with two goals and an assist to lead Albany Academy for Girls to a 6-0 victory over Lansingburgh in a Colonial Council contest. Liana Williams scored twice for Albany Academy, while Sunra Thomas and Cora Harbeck also scored. Mackenzie Pavelka made two saves to post the shutout in goal.

Shae Fontaine and Carissa Shanahan scored to lift Cohoes to a 2-1 victory over Cobleskill-Richmondville. Olivia Trendell scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs. Lily Brennan had eight saves for Cohoes, while Nyssa Roennpagel made 11 stops for Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Bella Raucci and Marissa Krosky scored for Mechanicville in a 2-0 Wasaren League victory over Greenwich. Maddy Hopeck had two assists for the Red Raiders, who got six saves from Liv Horan. Oliveah Reiszel finished with 13 saves for Greenwich.

BURNT HILLS-BALLSTON LAKE BLANKS NISKAYUNA

Maddy Connelie, Lily Mastrella and Caroline Kogurt all had a goal and an assist to lift Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to a 4-0 victory over Niskayuna in a Suburban Council field hockey game. Katie Langley also scored for the Spartans. KK Fish made one save to post the shutout in goal for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, while Julia Cropsey made 14 saves for Niskayuna.

Senior Dani Hand set a school record with six goals to lead Queensbury to a 10-0 victory in a Foothills Council field hockey game at Queensbury.

SHENENDEHOWA SWEEPS SARATOGA SPRINGS

Sabrina Kinkaid registered nine kills, eight service points, five blocks and two aces to power Shenendehowa to a 25-15, 25-10, 25-11 victory over Saratoga Springs in a Suburban Council girls’ volleyball match. Emma Paliwodzinski notched 31 assists, nine service points and five digs for Shen (12-4 overall, 9-0 Suburban), Reagan Annist had 15 kills and Kelsey Marin posted nine service points and two aces. Grace Almeida added six blocks and four kills for Shenendehowa. Noelle Slye had five kills and two digs for Saratoga Springs, Kadyn Castillo had five digs and two assists, and Sam Tracy added three kills.

Danielle Debonis finished with 23 assists and eight digs for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in a 25-12, 25-8, 25-22 victory over Guilderland. Leah Scalise added seven kills for the Spartans, who improved to 10-1 overall and 8-0 in Suburban Council play. Katie Nickerson posted 14 assists and 10 digs for Guilderland, Emily Norgrove posted six digs and four kills, and Sara Allen added 10 digs.

Ballston Spa swept Albany, 3-0, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-17.

Emily Prest had 13 kills and 10 digs to lead Averill Park to a 22-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-20 victory over Schenectady. Hannah Colwill had 33 digs, 26 service points and eight aces for the Warriors, while Makena Carter added five kills and five blocks.

Anna Watson recorded six kills, five aces and four digs to lift Bethlehem to a 25-12, 25-10, 9-25, 26-24 victory over Columbia. Kait Teitjen notched four kills and three blocks for the Eagles (8-3 overall, 7-2 Suburban), while Caroline Davis added four kills, three blocks and two digs.

Layla Shipley finished with 11 kills, six digs and three aces for Shaker in a 26-24, 25-17 and 25-14 win over Colonie. Bri Hardwick posted 23 assists and three aces for the Blue Bison (7-6 overall, 3-6 Suburban), while Grace Harris had six kills, one block and one dig. Gianna DeGonza notched eight kills and two blocks for Colonie, Shannon Coyle posted 10 digs and six kills, and Charley Herrington added 15 assists.

Ellie Mitchell posted 18 assists and 11 service points to help Broadalbin-Perth notch a 25-20, 25-11, 25-21 victory over Johnstown in a Foothills Council girls’ volleyball match Tuesday at Johnstown High School. Lexi Dunn had nine service points and two aces for the Patriots (7-3 overall, 7-3 Foothills), Camille Calderone recorded eight kills and two aces, and Sami Westfall added 10 points, six aces and four kills. Hannah Maxson had seven points, five kills, five digs and three aces for Johnstown (2-10 overall, 2-8 Foothills), while Deanna Beaupre posted seven points, five kills, four digs and two aces. Abbi Lewis added five kills, three digs, two assists, two aces and two points for the Lady Bills.

Allie Salvione recorded 18 service points and 15 assists for Gloversville in a 25-14, 25-16, 25-10 victory over Scotia-Glenville. Zoie Tesi posted 10 kills and seven aces for the Huskies, who improved to 5-5 overall and 4-5 in Foothills play.

In Western Athletic Conference action, Amber Kolpakas had 14 kills to push her career total to 1,000 kills, helping Galway cruise to a 25-4, 25-8, 25-14 victory over Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons. Sophia Fasolino notched 18 assists and three aces for the Golden Eagles (8-1 overall, 7-0 WAC), while Kailey Jankowski added five kills. Julia Jaworowski notched nine digs and eight kills to lead Bishop Gibbons (2-8 overall, 0-7 WAC), Julia Dobkowski had 13 digs and Tatum Liverio added seven assists.

Alanah Barnhill and Jahdey Jackson each recorded 11 kills to power Mekeel Christian Academy to a 25-13, 18-25, 26-24, 25-15 victory over Mayfield. Gabriella Luna recorded 31 assists for the Lions and Jamielynn Hastings added six aces. Brooke Long finished with nine digs, seven kills and four aces for Mayfield (9-3 overall, 7-2 WAC), while Lilia White had 14 assists, 14 digs and six kills. Kamee Myers posted six kills for the Panthers and Madison King added 11 digs, four blocks and four kills.

Amber Cole registered 19 assists, 10 aces and two digs for Fonda-Fultonville in a 25-16, 25-17, 25-11 sweep of Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville. Samara Hunt posted eight digs and five kills for the Lady Braves, while Maddy Mott added five kills, four digs and three aces. Brooke Trumble and Maddison Simond each had two assists and two kills for OESJ, while Lily O’Callaghan three blocks and three aces. Jade Dygert added three digs for OESJ.

In the Colonial Council, Catholic Central notched a 25-12, 25-20, 25-21 sweep of Lansingburgh. Kianna Lang finished with 10 kills and four aces for the Crusaders, while Angelena Giuliano had eight kills and five blocks. Ava Jacques and Macey Burns contributed four kills each for Catholic Central, and Grace Moore posted 32 digs.

BETHLEHEM NOTCHES WIN OVER GUILDERLAND

Danny Battista had 16 digs and four aces for Bethlehem in a 25-16, 25-22, 25-20 victory over Guilderland in a Suburban Council boys’ volleyball match. Joe Monserrat and Ben Sorrentino each had 18 assists for the Eagles, while Luke Saubier added seven kills and four blocks. Jonah Negris recorded seven kills and two blocks for Bethlehem (16-2 overall, 11-1 Suburban).
