Saratoga Sheriff: Galway motorcyclist dies from injuries suffered in Sept. 30 crash with car in Milton

MILTON – A Galway motorcyclist has died of injuries suffered in a Sept. 30 crash with a car in Milton, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said Thursday.

Jeffrey S. Weir, 61, of Galway, had been airlifted to Albany Medical Center after the crash, officials said.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Sept. 30 on Galway Road in Milton, officials said.

Weir was traveling east on his motorcycle when his motorcycle struck a vehicle that had pulled out of a driveway, officials said.

The driver of the other vehicle was cooperative with the investigation, officials said.

The accident is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit. The Rock City Falls Fire Department and Community Corps EMS assisted at the scene.
