Junior bowling: Palleschi, Fowler lead way

Gino Palleschi tossed a 264-759 for the boys’ featured performance at Towne Bowling Academy, where Gia Fowler ripped a 255-628, in this week’s junior bowling roundup.

Also at Towne Bowling Academy, Anthony Paradiso ripped a 280 and a 278 en route to a 699 and Jayson Capullo cranked out a 246-645 as well as a 229-607 for the boys.

At Sportsman’s Bowl, Angelo Galofaro hammered a 260-682, Tyler Bogholtz slammed a 244-672, Ryan Monty delivered a 236-662, Tyler Drexel shot a 227-625 and Travis Masick fired a 220-623 for the boys, while Brooke Howlan belted a 215-593 to lead the girls.

Julian Hansen (244-629), Mike Scaccia Jr. (221-625), Derek Bellamy (247-623), Thomas Quinn (248-618) and William Nelson (225-608) reached the 600 mark for the boys, while Teyah Mason topped the girls with a 218-594 at Boulevard Bowl.

The Joey Schmidt Capital District Junior Pro Scoring League wasn’t reported this week.
