ALBANY – The National Weather Service Tuesday released the unofficial snow totals for Monday’s storm – and issued a new advisory and warning for the next storm, due Wednesday.

The next storm has a winter weather advisory issued for much of the Capital Region to run from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday.

In the advisory area, which encompasses southern Saratoga and Fulton counties and points south, an additional 2 to 5 inches of snow, as well as ice accumulations from a glaze to a tenth of an inch are expected. Winds are expected to gust to 35 mph, the service said.

The service also issued a winter weather warning for northern Saratoga – including Saratoga Springs – and Fulton counties and points north from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.
