Siena men’s basketball guard Andrew Platek, a Team Dunkin’ athlete, spent some time Wednesday working at the Dunkin’ restaurant at 667 New Loudon Road in Latham. In honor of his partnership with Dunkin, the menu board depicts Platek’s beverage of choice, a small hot chocolate.
Platek, from Guilderland, is one of 31 student-athletes from colleges and universities nationwide working with Team Dunkin’. As part of Dunkin’s collegiate name, image and likeness partnerships, Platek will share his experiences across social media and wear exclusive Team Dunkin’ merchandise.
Platek averages 10.4 points per game for the Saints, who are 7-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and 13-7 overall.
