Amsterdam's WinterFest has been postponed.

AMSTERDAM — The city of Amsterdam’s second annual WinterFest is now planned for Saturday, Feb. 11, from noon to 4 p.m. at the skating rink at Veterans Park.

The outdoor event brimming with cold weather activities has been rescheduled due to the frigid temperatures forecast for this weekend.

The date is the only detail that has changed for the event sponsored by Alpin Haus.

WinterFest will once again feature free ice skate rentals, music, s’mores and hot chocolate. Hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments will be served at no charge. Giveaways of sleds and other treats will be offered.
