Ellis staff was kind, professional

Recently, I underwent surgery at Ellis Medicine.
I had no idea as to how this experience would be nor how I would find the surgeon and staff to be. My last hospitalization was 30 years ago at Albany Medical Center Hospital, and, as I expected, that event went very well.
I was pleased and somewhat surprised at the treatment I received at Ellis. First, my surgeon, Robert Gerstenbluth, MD, was extraordinary in terms of his skill as a surgeon and his “bedside manner.” He even called me at home to see how I was doing.
From the minute I entered Ellis, each and every staff member with whom I dealt was incredibly knowledgeable, solicitous and professional, and they all showed me genuine care and concern for my well-being.
From first-hand experience, Ellis was all I wanted it to be.
