UAlbany baseball to play six home games at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium

UALBANY – The UAlbany baseball team will be playing six games at Hudson Valley Community College’s Joseph L. Bruno Stadium this season, the team announced Tuesday.

The games that will be played at Bruno Stadium are against UMBC at 3 p.m. March 24, UMass Lowell at 6 p.m. April 14, Wagner at 6 p.m. April 28, Binghamton at 6 p.m. May 5 and NJIT at 6 p.m. May 18.

“This is a great opportunity for our student-athletes, fans, and their families,” Great Danes head coach Jon Mueller said in a press release. “We are looking forward to hosting these games at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium this spring.”

Each game at Bruno Stadium will be the first of a three-game weekend series for the Great Danes, with the following two games of each series being played at UAlbany. Any games at Bruno Stadium that are postponed will be made up at UAlbany.

The UAlbany men’s and women’s basketball teams played their home games at HVCC’s McDonough Sports Complex this season while their home area was being refurbished.
