Shots fired investigated in Schenectady’s Vale Neighborhood; Two houses, a car struck

SCHENECTADY – City police are investigating Tuesday night shooting that left two homes and a car damaged, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The incident happened at about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Catherine Street and Locust Avenue, a police spokesman said.

Multiple shots were fired in the area. The car and two houses were struck, the spokesman said.

The incident remained under investigation Wednesday.
