HIGH SCHOOLS – Dylan Bzdell scored six goals to lead Scotia-Glenville to a 9-3 win over Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth in Foothills Council boys’ lacrosse on Tuesday.
Bzdell scored three in the first quarter alone as the Tartans took a 3-0 lead.
Bryce Layton made 12 saves for Scotia, and Nick Lemp had a goal and two assists
Brayden Shattuck had six goals and three assists, and Michael Deutsch and Ian Reynolds each scored four goals as Queensbury blanked Hudson Falls 21-0.
Niskayuna built a 13-4 halftime lead and shut out Bethlehem in the second half for a 19-4 win in the Suburban Council.
Greyson Vorgang had four goals and six assists for Niskayuna, Saif Chowdhrey scored four goals and Lucas Klokiw and Tanner Williams each scored three. Dane Jones had three goals and an assist for the Eagles.
Andrew Cillis scored 12 goals as Voorheesville defeated Schenectady/Mohonasen 21-11 in the Colonial Council. Keegan McGovern had four goals and one assist for Schenectady/Mohonasen, Rorick Perry had three goals and two assists and Azai Baker had two goals and two assists.
In a non-league game, Buck DeLaMeter had six goals and an assist, and Riley DeJohn and Tanner Malone each scored three goals as Columbia defeated LaSalle 17-7.
Liam Manion, Joey Bodoin and Chase Rose each scored two goals for the Cadets.
In girls’ lacrosse, Courtney Fish had seven goals and an assist to lead Albany to an 18-14 non-league win over Holy Names. Hannah Lamont had three goals and an assist for the Falcons, and Anna Nichols led Holy Names with nine goals and two assists.
In Wasaren League baseball, Stillwater edged Salem/Cambridge 3-2, as Reese Hotaling had an RBI triple for Stillwater, Liam Brady hit a double and Shea Brown had two singles.
