COLONIE – A commercial vehicle overturned on the Northway in Colonie Monday morning, leading to expected long delays, New York State Police said.
Troopers announced the accident as a traffic alert on Twitter just before 9 a.m. indicating the crash happened on the Northway southbound just before the exit 6/7 ramp and reduced traffic to one lane.
“Prolonged delays are expected. Please seek alternate routes,” troopers wrote.
511ny.org indicated the incident start time as 8:21 a.m. and that it closed the two right lanes of three lanes in the area.
