ALBANY — The College of Saint Rose men’s basketball team will face Syracuse in an exhibition contest on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse.

The preseason matchup marks the fifth time the Golden Knights will face the Division I Orange. The two programs had previously met in 2004, 2005, 2011 and 2018.

“The College of Saint Rose men’s basketball is looking forward to this opportunity. Certainly, what we get out of it is experience, which I think is one of the underrated things in college sports, is the student-athlete experience,” Saint Rose head coach Brian Beaury said in a press release. “Playing against a team of that quality in the Dome, first and foremost, it’s the experience. We’ve also had a couple of competitive games with them [in the past] and we are looking forward to showcasing our program on this stage.”
