TROY — The Tri-City ValleyCats couldn’t erase a 10-0 deficit and dropped a 12-11 Frontier League decision to the Trois-Rivieres Aigles on Tuesday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
The ValleyCats scored two runs in the eighth and four more in the ninth to get within a run. However, they couldn’t complete the comeback.
Nate Scantlin and Juan Kelly homered for the Aigles.
Pavin Parks and Carson McCusker homered for the ValleyCats. McCusker, along with Trey Hair and Zach Biermann, had three hits. Cito Culver had two doubles.
