TROY — Carson McCusker hit his sixth home run of the year, Aaron Altherr also went deep, and the Tri-City ValleyCats posted a 12-1 win over the Empire State Greys in the second of a three-game series on Saturday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
The ValleyCats trailed 10 until the fifth, when they took the lead on an RBI single by Jaxon Hallmark, a sacrifice fly from Cito Culver and McCusker’s two-run homer.
Altherr added a three-run homer in the eighth, and Culver finished with three RBIs.
The Greys and ValleyCats will wrap up their series Sunday at 5 p.m. in Troy.
