Saratoga Springs’ Dean tied for sixth at NYSPHSAA Boys’ Golf Championships


ELMIRA — Saratoga Springs’ Kellen Dean and Glens Falls’ Brayden Dock are tied for sixth place after the first round of the NYSPHSAA Boys’ Golf Championships at Mark Twain Golf Course. Both shot a 4-over-par 76.

Grady Glennon, of Hunter-Tannersville in Section 4, has the first-round lead with a 72.

Saratoga Springs’ Charlie Greiner is tied for 26th with an 81, while Niskayuna’s Connor Desjardins is tied for 45th after an 83.

Other Section 2 scorers were Hudson Falls’ Noah Tyler (84, T52), Niskayuna’s Vincent Liguori (85, T60), Saratoga Springs’ Carter Sica (85, T60), Shenendehowa’s Eric Spoth (87, T75) and Saratoga Springs’ Henry Parobeck (91, T92).
