Bethlehem girls’ lacrosse season ends in Class B state semifinals



The Bethlehem girls’ lacrosse team’s season came to an end Friday when the Eagles dropped an 18-5 decision to Victor in the state Class B semifinals at SUNY Cortland.

The Eagles, the Section 2 Class B champions, reached the semifinals after defeating Minisink Valley 9-6 in the regional final.

Devin Livingston powered Victor, of Section 5, with seven goals. Five of those goals came in the first half, when Victor took a 13-4 lead.

Kaitlyn Tietjen, Caroline Marotta, Lauren Sinuc, Sophie Kline and Maeve Conway scored for Bethlehem, which finishes the season 18-6.
