PETS FUR ADOPTION – Looking for a shy and snuggly cat or a ball-of-energy dog? Meet some of the Capital Region’s most precious pets looking for their fur-ever homes!
Each week, Pets Fur Adoption will feature several cats, dogs and other animals available for adoption or foster at local shelters and rescues.

Gender & Breed: Male Domestic Shorthair
Age: 4.5 years old
Organization: Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Menands
About: Kelso is a man who loves affection, but you’ve got to work for it — if you walk over and show that you want to hang out with him, he will be your best pal. He’s a little awkward but aren’t we all? Kelso is a huge fan of head scratches and once you’re friends, he will be all up in your business in no time.

Gender & Breed: Female Guinea Pig
Age: 5 months old
Organization: Animal Protective Foundation, Glenville
About: Tiana is a super cute girl who makes all the happy pig noises. She has been with other guinea pigs and, with a slow transition, she would do fine meeting new friends.

About: Paige is a very sweet and loving girl who enjoys cuddling with people. She likes playing with her toys and getting outside for walks. She also enjoys taking rides in the car. Paige will be a loving and loyal member of the family!

About: Sylvie is an older, affectionate girl. Because of her age, she will need a slow transition into a new home with a family that understands it may take some time for her to warm up. Once she does, though, she will be your best friend and want all of the love and attention you have to give.
