Saratoga Springs got goals from Ava Goodman, Charlotte Kay and Lucia Devito as the Blue Streaks downed Schuylerville 3-0 in a non-league girls’ soccer game Saturday.
Elliott Patenaude’s second-half goal snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted Stillwater to a 3-1 win over Maple Hill. Brooke Coon and Karissa Mitchell also scored for Stillwater. Eva Hirschoff had the Maple Hill goal.
Guilderland edged Queensbury 2-1. Eryn Tynan and Kendall Barnhart scored in the first half for Guilderland. Ava Roca scored in the second half for Queensbury.
Schoharie and Berne-Knox-Westerlo tied 1-1 in the final of the Middleburgh Kickoff Tournament. Alaina Martin scored for Schoharie, with Bella Donzelli getting the assist. Alanna Yandon tallied for Berne-Knox-Westerlo. Both goalies, Schoharie’s Julianna Slater and the Bulldgos’ Madelyn Emmerich, made eight saves.
Ella Raymond, Laura Thomason each had a goal and an assist in Duanesburg’s 4-0 victory over Middleburgh in the Middleburgh Kickoff Tournament’s consolation game. Marissa James and Hannah Mulhern also scored for Duanesburg.
Leah Valovic had three goals in Northville’s 4-0 triumph over Amsterdam. Hailey Monroe scored Northville’s other goal. Goalie Lilian Chamberlain made two saves to earn the shutout.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Lily Ballard’s hat trick led Schoharie in a 4-2 win over Duanesburg at the Middleburgh Kickoff Tournament. Evelyn Messner also scored for Schoharie, while Olivia Borst provided an assist and goalie Julianna Slater was credited with one save.
Alex Moses scored both Duanesburg goals, and Morgan Krause finished with 11 saves.
Broadalbin-Perth rolled to an 11-2 non-league win over Cohoes behind three goals and three assists from Aubrey Fisher and three goals and two assists from Mianna Barboza. Morgan Egan added two goals and an assist in the win, with Olivia Rogers, Molly Russom and Anja Gatto also scoring.
Cohoes got a goal apiece from Riley Heighes and Shae Fontaine.
Schenectady fell 5-0 to Coxsackie-Athens despite 30 saves from goalie Olivia Kay. Danielle Deering was involved in four of Coxsackie-Athens’ five goals, scoring two and assisting on two. Camerin Taylor and Natalie Hinrichsen also scored.
Albany Academy was a 1-0 winner over Fonda-Fultonville on a goal by Liana Williams, assisted by Kira Ostovar.
In a non-league matchup between Western Athletic Conference rivals, OESJ beat Canajoharie/Fort Plain 6-1. Taylor Hayes scored twice, Lily Arduini had a goal and two assists and Jordan DeNinno, Tahirah Lettow and Julia Elwood each scored once for OESJ. Canajoharie/Fort Plain’s goal was scored by Soren Veit-Scott.
Schuylerville picked up a 3-0 win over Lake George, getting goals from Anna Armstrong, Victoria Piteri and Riley Keefer, plus a two-save shutout from Taylor Barraclough. Lake George’s Alexandra Cavalier made 18 saves.
THURSDAY’S GAMES
Mohonasen cruised to a non-league road victory at Amsterdam, 10-0.
Hannah Bachorik led the way with four goals, while eighth grader Ella Mullin was right behind, with three goals. Kaitlyn Pelts, Olivia Andriola, and Sarah Leclerc added one goal apiece to round out Mohonasen’s scoring.
Andriola tacked on three assists in the win. Bachorik, Mullin, Leclerc, Kierstyn Hoyt, Jordyn Edwards and Jianna Schuch all contributed an assist.
Isabella Clute had four saves in the goal for Mohonasen, while Carolyn Sculco racked up 18 for Amsterdam.
Parker Welch had a goal and an assist Thursday to help Glens Falls beat Hadley-Luzenre 3-0 in a non-league contest.
Ariana Harvey and Sue also scored for Glens Falls. Goalie Sarah Wolfstich stopped five shots for the shutout.
Greenville and Red Hook played to a scoreless tie. Greenville goalie Cameryn Childs made nine saves.
WEDNESDAY’S GAMES
Elliott Patenaude had two goals as Stillwater started the season with a 4-0 victory over Bolton/Warrensburg in the Stillwater Tournament. Patenaude scored the first and last goals for Stillwater.
Sofia Perniciaro and Brooke Hodgson also scored for Stillwater.
In the other game, Maple Hill defeated Hoosick Falls 1-0 on an Eva Hirschoff goal.
