SCHENECTADY — A man was shot in Schenectady’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, police reported.
Officers responded to a call of gunfire near Quinn’s Deli on Albany Street at 1:07 p.m. About two minutes later, Schenectady police received another call regarding a man suffering from a gunshot wound on nearby Duane Avenue.
Both calls were connected to the same event, according to police.
The adult man was transported by Mohawk Ambulance Service to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. He’s currently in stable condition.
No suspects have been named. The investigation is ongoing.
