Siena made a big comeback in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome an explosive first half for Rider as the Broncs won at the Times Union Center this afternoon, 89-75.

Rider's NBA-bound center, Jason Thompson, finished with 23 points and dominated the boards.

He outrebounded the entire Siena team in the first half, 11-10, as the Broncs took a 59-34 lead.

Josh Duell and Edwin Ubiles made back-to-back three-pointers to bring the Saints within 77-69 with six minutes left, but Siena never got closer.

Kenny Hasbrouck scored 23 points for Siena.
