8-for-8 from the foul line in overtime Monday night as the Lady Rams remained undefeated with a 68-63 Big 10 victory over Catholic Central.

Meghan Gaugler led the Lady Rams (10-0, 17-0) with 21 points, and Brittany Stahura came through with 19.

Colleen Dignun finished with 23 points for the Crusaders (5-5, 12-7), and Oliva DeMarco had 20, including all 10 of her team’s points in the extra session.

Chelcy Moore pumped in 21 points as Albany rallied to defeat Schenectady, 62-59, in another Big 10 game.

The win was the third of the season for the Falcons over the Pat­riots, who fell to 5-6 in the league and 11-8 overall.

Senior Rachel Csakany (20 points, 11 rebounds) and

junior Sheila Dixon (20 points 14

rebounds) each had a double-

double for the Patriots.

Glens Falls shook off a slow start and rallied to defeat Scotia-Glenville, 61-51, in a Foothills Council game. Jackie Norman led the Ind­ians (6-5, 7-10) with 13 points, while Gina Cappuccitti sparked the Tartans with 18.

Meg Olsen came through with 25 points to lead Bethlehem to a 66-25 victory over Ballston Spa in the Suburban Council.

Jackie Murphy scored 15 points, and Fallon Witte chipped in with 14 as Holy Names ran its overall record to 11-6 with a 56-32 Colonial Council victory over Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Meghan Fowler (17) and JaeDee Lavada (16) combined for 33 points to lead Mayfield to a 50-45 Western Athletic Conference victory over St. Johnsville.

Waterford-Halfmoon outscored Heatly, 15-5, in the final quarter to come away with a 34-31 victory in the Central Hudson Valley League.

Jackie Sorenson led the Fordians with 14 points.

Libby Schultz had a game-high 12 points to lead Emma Willard to a 36-16 victory over Doane

Stuart in the Central Hudson Valley League.

Albany Academy for Girls used a 20-6 first-quarter run to roll over New Lebanon, 42-27, in another CHVL game.

BRAVES TRIUMPH

Kevin Hanson had one of his best games of the season, pumping in 29 points to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a 61-44 victory over Spa Catholic in a battle of Western Athletic Conference boys’ powers.

The Braves (10-1, 15-2) jumped out to a 17-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, handing the Saints their first league loss of the season.

Pat O’Rourke led the Saints (10-1, 13-4) with 18 points.

Fort Plain improved to 6-5 in the WAC and 11-6 overall with a 47-29 victory over Canajoharie.

Voorheesville went 19-for-28 from the free-throw line as the Blackbirds held off Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 59-53, in the Colonial Council.

Evan Christner led the Blackbirds with 21 points, and Macket Lloyd and Ethan Mackey each finished with 15.

Travis Dygert pumped in 26 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to lead St. Johnsville to an 80-52 victory over Mayfield in the Western Athletic Conference.

Dygert scored 22 of his points in the first half as the Saints (5-6, 10-7) opened up a 42-26 lead. E-Jay Figueroa led the Panthers with 15.

Northville outscored Galway,

17-3, in the second quarter en route to a 50-42 WAC victory. Matt Blowers led the Falcons’ balanced attack with 14 points, while Steven Wilday finished with 18 for Galway.

Fort Plain clamped down on defense as the Hilltoppers defeated Canjoharie, 47-29, in another WAC game.
