Loyola beats Siena in OT

Loyola scored the first seven points in overtime and beat Siena, 83-76

Loyola scored the first seven points of overtime and went on to beat Siena, 83-76, in a MAAC men's basketball game at the Times Union Center this afternoon.

Loyola won despite a career-high 37 points from sophomore forward Edwin Ubiles.

Ubiles scored all of Siena's 10 points in overtime, butthe Greyhounds took control early on a turnaround by Michael Tuck and a baseline drive and three-pointer by Brian Rudolph for a 73-66 lead.

Greg Manning made a three-pointer, his only shot of the game, with eight seconds left in regulation to tie it at 66-66.
