A Schuylerville woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said she hit a house with her car early this morning.

Police said Amy N. Homsey, 24, was flown to Albany Medical Center after the 2:37 a.m. crash. Police responded to the scene at 123-125 W. Circular St. to find Homsey's Ford Probe two-door sedan lying on its roof on the building's front steps.

Homsey was trapped in the vehicle, but a male passenger was not injured, police said.

Homsey was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
