Voters on Tuesday approved the $85.32 million Guilderland Central School District budget by a vote of 1,988 to 1,416.
The budget represents a 1.79 percent increase in spending over the current year's budget and will result in an estimated 0.58 percent tax rate increase for residents in the Town of Guilderland.
Voters also approved by a count of 2,063 to 1,321 a proposition to purchase nine new buses and one maintenance truck.
Voters elected three members to the Board of Education. Elected were Julie Cuneo (2,255 votes), Denise Eisele (1,856) and Richard Weisz (1,652). Allan Simpson (1,613) and Elijah Sharma (1,427) were the other candidates.
