Ashley Kovack hit a pair of solo homers Sunday, powering Union to a 4-2 victory over St. John Fisher in the ECAC Upstate Tournament championship game.

It’s the fourth straight year the Dutchwomen (32-8) have won the title.

Kovack hit her first homer in the first inning. She hit her second of the game in the fifth.

Becky Gronczniak’s RBI single in the bottom of the second snapped a 1-1 tie.

Skidmore 3, Clarkson 1

ROCHESTER — Starter Nick Laracuente scattered six hits and struck out nine, leading the Thoroughbreds to the Liberty League title and an automatic NCAA Division III baseball tournament berth.

Back-to-back RBI doubles by Anthony Ferri and Spencer Marcus in the second inning game Skidmore (30-13) a 2-0 lead.

Maine 4, UAlbany 2

ORONO, Maine — The Black Bears scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to erase a 2-0 Great Danes lead and win their America East Conference game.

Justin Leisenheimer hit a two-run homer to tie it, and Pat Thibodeau snapped the tie with an RBI double.

Ralph Keppler had a two-run single for the Danes (9-12 AE, 10-36 overall).
