If the authorities can't find you, you can always find them.

If the authorities can't find you, you can always find them.

Such was the case Monday involving Terry L. Smith, 28, of 222 N. Perry St., Johnstown.

Smith, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for a previous complaint of petty larceny for allegedly stealing a laptop computer, visited an inmate Monday at Fulton County Correctional Facility. While there, he was spotted by authorities. He was arrested by Gloversville police on the outstanding warrant and held for arraignment in Gloversville City Court.

Smith was wanted in connection with the alleged theft of the computer from a residence at 7 Stone St., Gloversville, on Jan. 27.
