Tin & Lint burglar pleads, awaits sentencing

A Greene County man pleaded guilty to burglary in connection with a break-in at the Tin ’n’ Lint bar

A Greene County man pleaded guilty to burglary in connection with a break-in at the Tin ’n’ Lint bar in Saratoga Springs.

Michael E. Hammond, 41, of Leeds, pleaded guilty Monday in Saratoga County Court to felony third-degree burglary.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

Hammond was charged in December with breaking in through a window and threatening a cleaning man with a shovel. He was arrested later at the Price Chopper on Ballston Avenue.

Also recently in Saratoga County Court:

u Keith LaBarge, 49, of Queensbury pleaded guilty Monday to felony first-degree criminal contempt in connection with a Moreau charge from February. He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

u Ricky D. Jackson, 20, of Glens Falls, pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony third-degree attempted sale of a controlled substance. He was charged in March in Moreau. Sentencing is slated for June.

u John J. “Jackie” Williams Jr., 56, of 335 Jefferson St., Saratoga Springs, pleaded guilty on Monday to felony third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in connection with an incident in March in Saratoga Springs. He is scheduled to be sentenced in July.

u Matthew Tucker, 23, of 107 Reynolds Road, Moreau, pleaded guilty April 24 to felony third-degree rape. Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies and the state police charged him in January in Moreau. He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

u Stephen W. Michaels, 52, of 3 Brook Hollow Road, Ballston Lake, pleaded guilty April 26 to felony driving while intoxicated after being charged in February in Clifton Park. He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

u Michael Pauldine, 35, of 105 Traver Road, Wilton, pleaded guilty April 26 to felony DWI after state police charged him in December in Wilton. Sentencing set for June.

u Bradley Lange, 37, of 74 South St., Ballston Spa, was sentenced on Tuesday to two months of weekends in Saratoga County Jail after admitting to a probation violation in connection with a drunk driving conviction in March 2011.

u John Nanartowich, 56, of 44 Franklin St., Saratoga Springs, was sentenced on Monday to one year in Saratoga County Jail after pleading guilty to a probation violation in connection with a driving while intoxicated conviction from 2007.

u Richard E. O’Hara III, 35, of Hartford, was sentenced on April 24 to five years of probation and $12,667 of restitution in connection with a felony fourth-degree grand larceny conviction. O’Hara pleaded guilty in February to that charge.

u Rosa M. Cordona, 28, of 220 Broadway, Apt. G, Schuylerville, pleaded guilty April 24 to felony DWI with a child after Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies charged her in January in the town of Saratoga. Sentencing in June.

u Dyllan Butler, 24, of 7A James Court, Northumberland, was sentenced April 20 to continue his probation after admitting to a probation violation in connection with a felony attempted burglary conviction from 2008.

u Brian Killion, 29, of 900 Rock City Road, Ballston Spa, was sentenced to serve four months of weekends in Saratoga County Jail after he admitted to a probation violation in connection with a February 2011 DWI conviction.
