The historic upstate New York hotel where harsh-talking celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay filmed an episode for his new reality show is being put up for auction.
Local media outlets report that a foreclosure auction for the Cambridge Hotel will be held June 15 at the Washington County Courthouse in Fort Edward.
The owners of the hotel in the rural village of Cambridge owe nearly $470,000 to a local bank, which foreclosed on the property last month. The hotel and its restaurant remain open.
Ramsay was at the 127-year-old hotel near the Vermont border in January to film an episode for “Hotel Hell,” which follows the British chef as he travels across America to fix failing hotels and other lodging businesses.
The series is expected to start airing in late summer.
