A Caroga Lake man has died from injuries sustained Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his moto

A Caroga Lake man has died from injuries sustained Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.

Paul R. Burgess, 57, of P.O. Box 215, Caroga Lake, died this morning at Albany Medical Center.

He was operating a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on North Shore Road shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday when he failed to maneuver around a curve, struck a guard rail and was thrown from the motorcycle.

Burgess was flown to Albany Medical Center by Life Net.

The sheriff's office was assisted by the Edinburg Fire Department and Jessups Landing EMS.
