The Shenendehowa and Beth­lehem boys’ soccer teams prepped for their Saturday meeting with wins on Thursday.

Chris Schmid had both goals, giving him eight for the season, as the Plainsmen beat Mohonasen, 2-0, to improve to 5-0-1.

Justin Rohrwasser made three saves for the Plainsmen, who host the Eagles at 11 a.m. Saturday in the makeup of Tuesday’s postponed game between the Suburban Council division leaders.

The Eagles also improved to 5-0-1 with a 3-0 victory over Saratoga Springs.

Liam Roohan, Matt Henning and Brenick Hendrick-Fox had the goals for the Eagles.

Colonie picked up its first win, taking advantage of the absence of goalkeeper Kurtis Souza to beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 6-0.

Elidon Bardhollari had a goal and assist, and Robert Zuckerberg, Marco Audi, Checko Renda, Uyi Omorogbe and Matt Walsh contributed a goal each for the Garnet Raiders.

Jack McGee, Vito Mesiti and Matt Mesiti all scored first-half goals as Guilderland (3-1-1) beat Ballston Spa, 3-0.

The Dutchmen, playing their first game in seven days, opened a stretch of five games in nine days.

Ian Cutting scored four minutes in, and Jacques Fair added a goal in the final two minutes, giving Niskayuna (3-1-0) a 2-0 victory at Averill Park.

Ryan Casserly scored three goals, Guus Reefman added a goal and Tubo Akangbo assisted on a pair of goals as Shaker (4-2-0) shut out Columbia, 4-0.

Bebeto Roberts scored his second goal of the game four minutes into overtime to give Schenectady a 3-2 win over Catholic Central in the Big 10.

The Crusaders took a 2-1 lead on goals from Justin O’Brien and Eric Doyle before Roberts tied the game. Jamaal Aldhala had the other goal for the Patriots, 1-1-2 in the league.

Graeme Corrigan put home the winning goal in the first OT as Troy beat CBA, 3-2. Rafik Mekhaldi and Adam Kaarstad had the other Troy goals. Forrest Scaringe and Brandon Bolger scored for the Brothers.

Tyler Stempsey’s two goals helped Albany nip LaSalle, 3-2.

Vincent Grecco scored two goals and assisted on the other two as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk beat Fonda-Fultonville, 4-2, for its first Colonial Council win of the season.

Christian Hodson had the other goals for the Indians. Tom Dwyer and Sheldon Wayman had the Braves’ goals.

Seth Scarano scored three goals, and Alex Niemann had two, as Ichabod Crane (4-0-1) topped Cobleskill-Richmondville, 10-1. Chris Conrad scored for the Bulldogs.

Joey Ricchio and Liam Lynch scored goals as Doane Stuart edged Saratoga Central Catholic, 2-1, in a non-league game. Chris Larson scored the Saints’ goal.
