Boys’ soccer: Mekeel's Lions win

Tai Aderounmu scored twice, Kenny Aderounmu scored once and assisted twice, and Mekeel Christian Academy topped Duanesburg, 6-0, in the Western Athletic Conference. TK Majekodunmi had a goal and an assist, and other goals came from Nick Kelly and Jared Doriski, both recording their first varsity goals.

Schalmont beat Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 6-1, in the Colonial Council. Ravena got 12 saves from Tyler Thompson and a goal from Christian Hodson.

In the Adirondack League, Fort Ann’s George Lehoisky scored three times in a 7-0 win over Hadley-Luzerne. Jonah Gould stopped the three shots he faced for the shutout, while Hadley-Luzerne’s Alex Gilbert stopped 14 shots.

Nick Lehoisky and Derek Durkee both had a goal and an assist, while other goals came from Garrett Bailey and Zack White.

Hartford beat Corinth in overtime in another Adirondack game, 2-1, with the winner coming off the foot of Dylan Jones in the second overtime. Shane Rogers had Hartford’s other goal, while Nate Woodcock scored for the Tomahawks.

Casey Angello scored the lone goal in Taconic Hills’ 1-0 Patroon Conference win over Hudson.

Chatham got goals from Ryan Mackerer and Ryder Simmons in another Patroon game, beating Maple Hill, 2-0.

Usman Sadiq scored twice to lead New Lebanon past Heatly, 6-0, in the Central Hudson Valley League.

Jacob Film scored twice for Loudonville Christian School in another CHVL game, a 2-1 win over Germantown. Andrew Rollis made five saves.

Joey Steir scored on a penalty kick in the loss and had 18 saves in goal.

In a non-league game, Canajoharie beat Saratoga Central Catholic, 2-0, on goals from Zachary Bowerman and Logan Sala. Chris Deyette made nine saves in the shutout. Saratoga Central Catholic got 17 saves from Joe Schmidt.
