Voorheesville swept Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk in a meeting of teams previously unbeaten in the Colonial Council. Both teams lead their respective divisions and are both defending division champs.

The Blackbirds (10-0 Colonial) did it in convincing fashion, 25-19, 25-10, 25-19. Caroline Bablin had 10 kills, and Mariel McGinnis had nine. Libby Bjork protected the back line with nine digs and handed out 27 assists for the Liberty Division leaders, also the defending Section II Class C champions.

Ravena (9-1 Colonial, 12-1 overall) got eight kills and four digs from Miceala Bullis and still leads the Patriot Division.

Watervliet got by Ichabod Crane in five games, 16-25, 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, led by Amber Wells with five kills. Kiki Szczepanski had nine points, and Ayanna Hamby added six service points. The Riders got 12 kills from Katie Barber, and Quinn Hennessy had nine kills and seven aces.

Cobleskill-Richmondville traded games with Cohoes and eventually won in five, 25-11, 20-25, 25-16, 19-25, 25-16. Alaina Thaxter had 16 service points and seven kills for Cobleskill (3-7, 3-7), while Taylor Brooker added another 16 points, and Haley Monton had eight kills. Cohoes dropped to 3-7, 3-7.

Cory Lais had 11 aces to help Fonda-Fultonville beat Mechanicville, 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-12. Lais also had 21 service points and five kills. Sierra Park had 18 points and five aces for the Lady Braves (6-4, 7-5).

Mechanicville (1-9) got 14 points and four aces from Alydia Zecca. Paige Hansen had five kills and two blocks.

Troy won the decisive game over Schenectady, 27-25, to win in the Big 10. The full match score was 20-25, 25-16, 25-19, 23-25, 27-25.

Schenectady (6-4) got 13 service points and 10 kills from Tara Riley, while Brielle Lazarri recorded 18 digs and Katie Yang turned in nine points and 15 assists.

Clare Herubin had eight kills and 10 digs to lead Catholic Central past Bishop Maginn, 25-21, 25-6, 25-9. Anna Cochis added five kills and five aces, while Brooke Baglione had eight assists and six aces.

Bethlehem rallied after trailing, two games to none, to beat Niskayuna in a Suburban Council match, 20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

JoJo Steiner had 10 kills for Bethlehem (4-6), and Carrie Maniccia added 10 assists and seven kills. Niskayuna (3-7) got 13 kills from DeAnna Whittemore, while Sam-antha Atchinson had 27 digs and four aces.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake swept Mohonasen, 25-6, 25-4, 25-6. Erica Ziskin had four kills and four assists for the Spartans (10-0 Suburban, 14-1 overall).

Guilderland got past Saratoga Springs, 25-20, 25-19, 25-10, led by Quincy Kinzel’s nine kills, 13 assists, 14 service points and four aces. Jessica VanDoren added eight kills, 14 digs and nine points.

Saratoga got seven kills and eight blocks from Sophy Lavine and 11 digs from Eugenia Machado.

Averill Park downed Ballston Spa, 25-10, 25-21, 25-12, with Courtney Fennelly recording eight blocks. Jess Powers had eight kills for Averill Park (4-6, 7-6), and Abby Fischer had seven kills and 40 digs. Ballston Spa (1-8, 1-8) got nine points from Paige Gallo and five kills apiece from Morgan Herrick and Katy Rimawi.

Shenendehowa beat Columbia, 25-15, 25-17, 25-16. Columbia (5-5, 6-5) got six kills and six digs from Lindsey Champitto. Amy Konieczny added 10 digs.

Shaker beat Colonie, 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo beat Canajoharie in the Western Athletic Conference, 25-18, 13-25, 25-23, 25-14. Gabriella Audino turned in 27 assists, 12 service points, four aces and three blocks for BKW (6-5). Danielle Hubbard had 24 kills, 12 digs, 11 points, four aces and three blocks in the win. Kaitlind Horlacher led the defensive effort with 23 digs.

Canajoharie got 11 digs and six kills from Shyanna Logan. Emma Stortecky had 15 assists, and Jodi Streath had six kills.

Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons moved to 9-2 overall with a non-league sweep of Saratoga Central Catholic, 25-14, 25-12, 25-17. Car-oline Bouchard had 18 service points, four aces, five kills and nine digs in the win. Cassie Nosal had five kills, and Emily Brown had 17 assists.

Saratoga Catholic (8-3) got 10 digs from Sierra Matthews and nine digs from Erin Thornton.
