Philip Persson and Kristian Alexieff scored late in the second half Wednesday as UAlb-any beat UMBC, 3-2, in an America East men’s soccer game. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Great Danes, 1-2-0 in the conference and 3-9-0 overall.
