College hockey: Dutchmen rally to defeat Falcons

Union College spotted Bowling Green a 2-0 lead, and then came storming back to defeat the Falcons, 5-3, in a non-conference game Friday night.

The win was the first of the season for the Dutchmen, who opened the season with a loss to Merrimack last weekend.

Freshman defenseman Sebastien Gingras scored two goals, both on power plays. and Mat Bodie finished with a goal and two assists for the Dutchmen, who scored all of their goals on special teams (three power plays, two short-handed).

The Dutchmen and the Falcons (0-1-1) play again tonight.
