A Schenectady man and a Ballston Spa woman have been charged with a variety of crimes after police investigated a larceny complaint at the Bridgewater Apartments in the town of Ballston.
The man and woman were located and arrested at the Forest Hills Mobile Home Park in the town of Milton late Monday night, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael S. Surprenant, 24, of Hamilton Street in Schenectady was charged with petty larceny related to items stolen from the Bridgewater Apartments. Police said Surprenant also violated his parole and had a warrant out for his arrest.
He was taken to Saratoga County Jail on the warrant.
Amanda Elizabeth Lovely, 27, of Lot 13 Paisley Road in Ballston Spa, was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child; police said a small child was present in the residence when she was arrested.
Lovely was released on an appearance ticket for Milton Town Court.
Police said Surprenant was found hiding in Lovely’s residence when officers arrived. Police said they found heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and hypodermic needles there.
