Unbeaten Shaker got three touchdown runs from Ryan Griffin and crushed Ballston Spa, 42-6, in a Class AA quarterfinal game Friday night.

Griffin tallied on runs of 35, two and 12 yards. He also added two conversion runs.

Kenny Jackson hauled in a TD strike from Chris Landers, Tyler Oppelt found the end zone on a 20-yard run, and Patrick Hoey returned a fumble 65 yards for another score to lead the 8-0 Blue Bison.

Matt Hommel scored on a 55-yard run for the 2-6 Scotties.

GUILDERLAND — Chris Smith erupted for 192 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and Kenny Mathieu added 155 yards rushing and two more scores to power the Blue Devils over the Dutchmen in a quarterfinal filled with big scoring runs.

Mathieu scored on runs of 77 and 67 yards, while Smith tallied on runs of 69 and 54 yards.

Guilderland scored on a safety and a two-yard run by Micaiah Henningham.

Both teams are 4-4.

AMSTERDAM — Geo Rodriguez ran for one touchdown and passed for two more as Amsterdam crushed the Warriors.

Brett Stanovich scored twice, once on a free kick following a safety and once on a 58-yard run, for the Rams.

Louis LaBoy, Julian Gallup, Hector Diaz, Isiah Martin and Anthony Yevoli also scored for the 5-3 Rams. Robert Santiago picked up a safety when he tackled the punter in the end zone.

For 3-5 Averill Park, Colin Fleming and Chris Arnold scored touchdowns.

TROY — Pat Chamberlain rambled for 158 yards and scored four touchdowns to help the Flying Horses (6-2) advance to the semfinals.

Troy, which scored 21 points in each of the first two periods, ran for more than 400 yards as a team.

Dan Reichalt and Victor Priela tacked on touchdown runs, and Maurice Jones scored on a one-yard run and a 75-yard kickoff return for Troy.

Gloversville (2-6) was led by Mike Murray’s 83-yard kickoff

return for a score.

TROY — Shane Lyon locked up the upset win with an interception with 11 seconds left in the game as the Black Horses stunned prev­iously unbeaten Lansinburgh.

Lyon finished with 160 yards and a touchdown for the 4-4 Black Horses. Danny Waldron capped an 80-yard game-winning drive by scoring on a one-yard run with 3:07 left in the game.

Lansingburgh, 7-1, was led by Anthony Walker, who gambled for 220 yards and all three touchdowns.

John Mackerer caught a pair of TD passes for the 8-0 Panthers. Steve Munson had two quarterback sacks, and quarterback Tyler Van Brunt added three TD passes overall and two TD runs. Aaron Jackson caught one TD pass and also ran for a score.

Liam Kane scored on a one-yard plunge, and Lape Hunter scored on a 31-yard TD pass for 2-6 Still­water.
