A week long investigation into an incident that left a 16-year-old severely intoxicated and unresponsive resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old Stillwater man.
Jeremy J. Ryf was charged with two counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, according to a Stillwater Police release issued Saturday. Police say Ryf purchased alcohol Nov. 10 for two 16-year-olds, one of whom was later found unresponsive near a wooded area in the back of a village housing complex. The teenager required emergency transportation to an area hospital and treated for severe intoxication.
Ryf was arraigned in Stillwater Town Court and later transported to Saratoga County Jail, where he is being held on bail.
Sgt. Ray Cordani handled the investigation.
