More than $100,000 worth of possessions including jewelry, gold, silver and electronics was stolen Friday night during three separate burglaries along Westbury Drive in the city.
The burglaries occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. at homes that were unoccupied, according to a Saratoga Springs police advisory Saturday. The thieves forced entry into the homes through side or rear doors, and took items including gold coins, gold bars, silver, jewelry, international currency like Swiss francs, an iPhone, MacBook, iPad and Nikon Camera, among others.
“The value of stolen items exceeds well over $100,000,” according to the release.
Police ask that anybody with information regarding the burglaries or anybody who might have been in the Westbury Drive area Friday night and noticed something suspicious contact the department at 584-1800.
