Tournament MOW Andrew Mollevik was one of five Duanesburg wrestlers to go 5-0 as the Eagles won their own dual meet tournament.

Joe Bena’s team beat Cobleskill-Richmondville, Schoharie, Guilderland, Warrensburg and Holland Patent from Section III.

Mollevik totaled four pins and a major decision. Devin VanVlack, Connor Lawrence, Jeff Senecal and Chas Mueller also won all five of their bouts.

Josh Logiudice and Mike Lainhart both went 5-0 for Guilderland. Logiudice had four pins in a total of 2:01 and also had a forfeit win. Lainhart had two first-period pins.

Mike Green, Nick Rehberg and Derrick Knight all went 5-0 for 3-2 Cobleskill-Richmondville. Alexis Bleau, Sean Durfee and Kyle Brown were all 4-1 for Schoharie.

Columbia won its two-day dual tournament, with state finalist El Shaddai Gilmore-VanHoesen, sectional champ Angelo Kress, John McHugh, Chris Morrissey, John Devine, Jim Devine and Anthony Wasiyo all 7-0.

Runner-up Schalmont had sectional champ Nick Gallo go 7-0. Also sporting 7-0 records were Whitehall’s John Diekel and Shaker’s Blake Retell.

Jordan Sartin took MOW as Galway won its own dual tourney. Also going 5-0 for the Eagles were Nico Riccio, Dean Poulin, Steve Culbert and Ryan Pappalau.

Rocky Point (5-0) is ahead of the field after the first day of the Linda Stuart Duals at Colonie. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and the hosts are both 4-1.

Golan Cohan, Tom Walsh and heavyweights Wayne Burt, Jason Jason Johnson and Austi DiCerbo (five pins) are 5-0 for Colonie.

Joey Butler, Jake Ashcraft and Jack Hatton are 5-0 for Burnt Hills, with Mason Rabideau, Race Viedt and Nico Fragale all 4-1.

Geno Brancati of Hudson Falls and Luke Misuraca of Ravena are 5-0; Ravena’s Freddy Pechette and Jerrell White of Schenectady are 4-1.

Granville’s Devin Cohan, Eric Rozell and Dwayne Nadeau were unbeaten as Granville went 4-1 at the Ausable Valley tournament. Nathaniel Palmer and Brad Perry were both 4-1.

Mechanicville’s Adam Erno won the 132-pound weight class at the Glens Falls tournament, the second weekend in a row he has placed first.
