Harvey sparks B-K-W past Middleburgh, 63-36

Elizabeth Harvey pumped in 35 points to lead Berne-Knox-Westelo to a convincing 63-36 victory over Middleburgh in a key Western Athletic Conference Southern Division test Friday night at Middleburgh.

The Bulldogs (3-0, 7-1) broke loose from a tight game by outscoring the 2-1, 4-2 Knights, 41-23, over the middle two periods.

Makayla McCormick tossed in 10 points for B-K-W. Courtney Paser topped Middleburgh with 14 points.

Macie Holmes poured in 21 points to lift Mekeel Christian Academy to a 62-16 victory over Sharon Springs.

Nicoile Barratiere added 10 points for 4-4 Mekeel, which jumped out to a 21-4 first-quarter lead.

Saratoga Catholic edged Mayfield, 39-38, behind 11 points each from Alayna Landolfo and Kaylie Fish.

Nicole Little scored a game-high 18 points for the Panthers.

Rachel Gamache and Maddy Kenyon combined for 13 points in a 16-3 fourth-quarter run to carry Duanesburg over Schoharie, 48-36.

Gamache finished with 14 points, and both Kenyon and Steph Rice scored 12 for the 2-1, 5-2 Eagles. Emily Gage and Hannah Bowersox scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, for Schoharie.

Abby Boyer shot 10-for-14 from the line and finished with 18 points, while Haley Kilmartin and Allehah Van Loan combined for 28 more in Fort Plain’s 63-25 drubbing of St. Johnsville.

Bethlehem remained unbeaten with a 59-41 Suburban Council victory over Shenendehowa.

Gabby Giacone was the scoring ace for the 6-0, 8-0 Eagles with 25 points. Bridget Murphy backed her up with 12 points.

For 3-2, 6-2 Shenendehowa, Carly Boland and Samira Sangare combined for 22 points.

Jaclyn Welch tallied 17 points to go along with eight rebounds, and Nicole Riddick added 10 points as Colonie coasted past Saratoga Springs, 60-32.

Sydnie Rosales added nine points and eight rebounds for the Garnet Raiders.

Kelly Donnelly found the range for 19 points in Averill Park’s 69-27 win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.

Madison Rowland tossed in 18 points to help unbeaten Shaker beat Guilderland, 55-31.

Mary LaPoint (13), Nancy Moore (12) and Sarah Jaromin (11) combined for 36 points as Columbia defeated Niskayuna, 54-26.

The Silver Warriors were held to seven points in the middle two quarters.

Kelsey Cowell fired in 21 points, and Saeeda Abdul-Aziz backed her up with 13 as Mohonasen slipped past Ballston Spa, 42-41.

The Mighty Warriors improved to 3-5. Paige Gallo paced the 1-7 Scotties with 13 points.

In the Big 10, Madison Purcell popped in 19 points to spark Cath­olic Central to a 49-23 victory over Schenectady.

The Crusaders (3-3, 6-3) outscored the Patriots, 33-17, in the second half.

Cy’Anne Frazier’s 10 points topped the 0-9 Patriots.

Troy rolled out to a 26-6 first-quarter advantage and nearly doubled up Amsterdam, 61-32.

Mary Pattison tossed in 16 points, Krystyn Knockwood tallied 11 and Cheyanne Williams netted 10 for the Flying Horses.

Watervliet rode 21 points from Lashona Tolliver and 11 points, five assists and six steals from Ailayia Demand to beat Mechanicville, 63-25, in the Colonial Council.

Tegan Clough added eight rebounds for the Cannoneers.

Hannay Friend and De’Janaire Deas each connected for 20 points in Holy Names’ 62-31 victory over Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Kate Small chipped in with 11 points for 7-0 Holy Names. Danielle Kiser’s 10 points topped the Bulldogs.

Cassandra Egelston nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime, and the Braves eventually prevailed over Ichabod Crane in the second extra period, 59-57.

Emily Parslow scored 19 points, and Monica Derby popped in 14 for the 1-5, 3-5 Braves. Fresman Ashley Haywood scored 25 for the 2-4, 2-6 Riders.

Voorheesville handed Lansingburgh its seventh straight defeat, 56-33.

Katrina Wallace popped in 15 points for the 3-4 Blackbirds.

Schuylerville overwhelmed Granville, 70-14, in the Wasaren League, as Rebecca Sheely excelled with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Tamarac stopped Hoosick Falls, 65-51, behind 20 points from Jenna Erickson and 17 from Briana Matazinsky.

Stillwater clipped Cambridge, 41-38, as Tori Menneto scored 15 points for the Warriors.

Hoosic Valley topped Greenwich, 54-36, behind Cassidy Chapko’s 16 points.

Kendra Pulley’s 18 points carried Corinth over Hadley-Luzerne, 51-11, in an Adirondack League contest.

The Tomhawks improved to 5-2, while Hadley-Luzerne dropped to 0-7.

In a non-league game, Emma Heroth scored 11 points, and Courtney Cirillo tacked on 10 more as Johnstown defeated Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons (1-9), 65-24.

The 3-4 Lady Bills opened with a 22-2 first-quarter lead and kept pulling away.

Katie Herba scored 20 points, and Kaitlin Wood was 8-for-9 from the line on the way to 18 points as Broadalbin-Perth downed Albany Leadership Charter School, 65-46.

Kylie Gifford added 13 points for the Patriots. McKenna Lee Gordon scored 17, and Mayna Torres added 11 for Albany Leadership Charter.
