An Albany woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having 1 1/2 pounds of cocaine in her car.
Just after 10 p.m., state police stopped 31-year-old Dayarree D. Pettiway’s 2012 Nissan Sentra after her vehicle was observed driving north in the southbound lane of Route 9W in Albany. In addition to the cocaine, Pettiway allegedly possessed a small amount of marijuana, according to a press release.
Pettiway was charged with felony first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned before City of Albany Court Judge Thomas Keefe and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility with no bail.
