A 57-year-old Gloversville man faces a felony sex charge involving a minor as part of a widening investigation into his alleged activities.
Raymond Duesler, of 27 Park St., was charged Thursday with sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony.
Gloversville police said Duesler subjected a 10-year-old girl to sexual contact at his home in 2006. Duesler also faces several misdemeanor charges for alleged sexual activities involving minors.
Police said Duesler forcibly touched and endangered the welfare of a child on Jan. 10. He is alleged to have entered a shower stall naked while a 17-year-old female was showering. Police said he forcibly subjected her to sexual contact without her consent.
After an investigation, police said he:
• Entered a shower as a 16-year-old was showering, throwing cheese at her, in February. He also is accused of turning on a pornographic video in front of her and making references to the intimate parts of her body. Police say that he asked the victim to take her top off.
• Exposed his naked body to a 15-year-old female in February while he turned on a pornographic movie in her presence.
• Asked a 15-year-old girl in August to touch his penis and perform oral sex on him. The female refused and left.
All these incidents occurred at Duesler’s Park Street residence.
Duesler was sent to the Fulton County jail pending further court appearances.
