Scotia-Glenville High School graduate Jim Janson scored 20 points, on 8-for-9 shooting from the floor, to lead Le Moyne over The College of Saint Rose, 79-62, in a Northeast-10 Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Daniel P. Nolan Gym­nasium.

The Dolphins (8-8, 11-9) avenged an earlier 68-66 loss this season to the Golden Knights in the first game of the new Upstate Challenge rivalry series between the two schools.

Junior center Dominykas Milka recorded his 13th double-double of the season with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the 7-9, 10-10 Golden Knights. Tyler Sayre and Andre Pope added 12 points each.

LE MOYNE

ALBANY — Senior center Ryan Sager made a layup with two seconds left in overtime to send the Gators over the Maccabees in a Skyline Conference game at Kahl Gym.

Matt Farbotko topped the 6-9, 11-11 Gators with 24 points, and Mason Horne chipped in with 20.

UTICA — Ryan James pumped in 28 points, and T’Andre Richardson backed him up with 20 to help SUNYIT trip the Fighting Tigers at Campus Center Gym.

SUNYIT improved to 7-14. The Fighting Tigers (5-17) were paced by Mike Marcelin with 19 points, Alexis Nunez with 11 and Tyrone Mitchell with 10.

UTICA — Abbey Hanahan netted 21 points, and Lyndsey Brognano added 16 as SUNYIT topped the Fighting Tigers at Campus Center Gym.

Heidi Anderson led the 6-14 Fighting Tigers with 18 points and became the program’s all-time leading scorer.

ALBANY — The Golden Knights opened the second half with a 14-3 run and shot 68.2 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes en route to a Northeast-10 Conference win over the Dolphins in part of the year-long Upstate Challenge rivalry series.

Sophomore guard Gabie Polce and freshman guard Tyler Hansen led a balanced CSR attack with 14 points each. Junior guard Desiree Simmons tossed in 11 points, while senior forward Jessica Walton (Holy Names) added 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting. CSR is 5-11 and 8-12.

LE MOYNE
