Cleanup is almost completed on damage caused by a burst water pipe at the box office building of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Route 50 over the past week.

“Really we were fortunate,” said Lisa Hill, a SPAC spokeswoman. She said the water damaged some ticket stock.

She said Quick Response, the local company that does water and fire restoration work, was able to successfully dry out the floors and walls affected by water. The burst pipe was discovered Feb. 4, “right after the cold snap,” Hill said.

The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will replace the broken pipe, she said. The box office is at the end of the SPAC parking lot off Route 50 in the Saratoga Spa State Park.

The box office is generally empty during the winter months with box office employees working in the main SPAC administration building in the Hall of Springs building in the Spa State Park.
