With a 60-49 win over Stony Brook at SEFCU Arena on Saturday, the University at Albany women became the first team to finish the America East season unbeaten since Hartford in the 2009-10 season.

The Great Danes finish at 16-0 in the America East Conference and 25-3 overall. They will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, hosting No. 8 Maine on Friday night at 8.

UAlbany shot 65 percent from the field in the first half (13-for-20) to take a 35-23 lead into the break. Stony Brook shot just 32 percent before the break (8-for-25).

Ebone Henry led the Great Danes with 15 points and six assists, hitting all seven of her free throws. Megan Craig added 13 points and three blocked shots, and Shereesha Richards chipped in with 12 points.

Julie Forster finished with eight points and a game-high eight rebounds.

The Seawolves (6-10 America East, 14-15 overall) were led by Chikilra Goodman with 19 points and seven rebounds. Sabre Proctor added 14 points.

Neither team could find its range from beyond the three-point arc, Stony Brook going 0-for-10 and UAlbany finishing 0-for-6 from long distance.

The Great Danes held a slight edge on the boards, 30-28, and a large one in assists, 15-5.

The Seawolves are the No. 4 seed in the America East Tournament and will face No. 5 New Hampshire (6-10, 11-17) in the first round after UAlbany’s quarterfinal against Maine.
